Christmas in Utah

Hope your Christmas has been as enjoyable and memorable as ours has been. Here are some recent pictures...both inside and outside. Temps have been in the 5 to 15 deg range, and we've gotten about 3' of powder snow since we've been here. The 2 clear days of skiing were great. In addition to the outdoor activities, the wii game system downstairs has been very active for all. Don Martinson joins us this afternoon for a birthday celebration.

This blog starts with the approach of Christmas 2008.

We left Magnolia on Dec. 14 headed for Andy and Krista's in Apple Valley, UT. Here's a greeting we received in Flagstaff, AZ.

We made it to Andy and Krista's, and found more snow.

Mike, Katie, Logan, and Ivy joined us, and we all drove up to Liberty, UT, where we rented a log home for Christmas week. The first day there we lucked out finding a Christmas tree...drove to a tree farm where the owner drove us out to the trees in a horse-drawn sleigh. Later back home we strung popcorn and made colored paper chains for decorations.
